TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWestfordUniSharjah, where “x” signifies an independently organized TED event. It is an initiative of Westford University College, a transnational partner of leading universities in the UK, US, and Europe, that aims to initiate discussions on unlocking human potential to explore the unexplored.

The first edition of TEDxWestfordUniSharjah featured speakers sharing their thoughts and experiences on various topics that resonated with the theme “Vision Extraordinaire.” The latest edition, under the theme “Future Spectra,” promises to be even better than the last. It holds great potential as the starting point for exploring the realms of possibility for a promising future together.
